DASHA & MARI form an inseparable photographic duo since earning their Master's degree at Kingston University, London in 2018. Their photography style blends modernity with classics, emphasizing elegance and sensuality. Born in 1985, the Ukrainian twins are making waves in the fashion world as young artistic talents. They complement each other perfectly throughout the creative process, from the shoot to post-production. From the start, DASHA & MARI have specialized in portraiture and the female nude in black and white. Roaming European capitals, from Paris to Berlin, they draw inspiration from the film and fashion worlds to create images where the bodies of sensuous women are displayed with a controlled extravagance under their sharp gaze. Their artistic projects have been selected by international juries in competitions around the world. They were notably laureates of the 12th Black & White Spider Awards and the International Color Awards in 2017, as well as finalists of the Hasselblad Masters Awards in 2014. They also have numerous editorial collaborations with Elle Magazine (UK), The Huffington Post (USA) and The View Magazine (Netherlands), to name just a few among many.
