Boch Frères - Plate (2) - Famille Rose - Porcelain - Canton Pattern
A fine pair of 19th-century Canton pattern (Famille Rose) plates produced by the Boch Frères pottery factory, Belgium. The plates feature a richly detailed polychrome Asian-inspired decoration, dominated by a vibrant green palette, reflecting the European interpretation of traditional Chinese export porcelain designs popular during the period.
Both plates are finely potted with a gently raised rim and display meticulous hand-painted motifs characteristic of the Canton style from 1860.
These plates are an excellent example of 19th-century European chinoiserie ceramics and would make a refined addition to any collection of Asian-inspired decorative arts, Boch Frères pottery, or historical tableware.
