A wooden chest in the classic Art Deco style.
A 'baba' type chest, fantastically adorned, with a polished surface.
The upper convex pane, behind it a clearly legible large dial.
Lower glass panel in the form of stained glass with beveled edges.
Under the stained glass window, beautiful sculptures and decorations.
The shield is in good condition with minor signs of wear.
The pendulum has a small amount of dirt.

A clock dated September 1937.
This is evidenced by two digits stamped on the mechanism.
9 indicates the month, and 37 indicates the year of production.
Junghans dated their clocks in this way.

The clock is running and striking correctly; it is keeping proper time.
Three-string gong, beautifully strikes the halves and full hours.
The sound is clean and deep.
Key included.

There are minor signs of use consistent with its age.
Small scratches and dulling.
