Excellent Agoudal meteorite. Known also by the provisional name of Imilchil this meteorite was classified as a IIAB iron. It was first described in 2011 and is considered to be the one of the newest Moroccan iron meteorites. It's now believed that 2 lakes found in the area are actually craters of the meteorite. Supposedly the falling rock divided into 2 large fragments before they exploded forming the craters. Thousands of little and intricate meteorites scattered around the current location of the town Agoudal, which is the highest town in Morocco at 2300 meters above sea level.
