Rob van Schijndel, Rietveld, a hand-signed 1984 silkscreen in good condition, 41 x 46 cm framed, from a limited edition 1/4, produced in the Netherlands and sold by Galerie.
Description from the seller
This is a screen print by the Dutch artist Rob van Schijndel. His work is graphic and layered, with a clear preference for bright structures. In his screen prints, he depicts both natural and urban landscapes, such as polder structures, hay fields, railway bridges, and road markings. By reducing these landscapes to their essence, he creates images that radiate calm, order, and rhythm.
Rob van Schijndel combines photography with drawing and painting techniques, building up his prints layer by layer in an artisanal and labor-intensive process. The colors used are mostly natural in tone, with subtle yet powerful color accents in the final print run giving the work a strong graphic appearance. Each piece is printed in a small edition on acid-free, ivory-colored cardboard.
Dimensions: 25 x 31 cm
Dimensions with frame: 41 x 46 cm
The work is available for viewing at our gallery. Furthermore, Art Dumay has a framing shop (celebrating their 85th anniversary this year) and a restoration studio. If you wish to make use of these services, we would be happy to hear from you.
