Rare et remarquable harpe traditionnelle Lega, sculptée dans un bois ancien à belle patine brun foncé. L’instrument présente une double figure anthropomorphe dos à dos, finement stylisée, ornée de motifs circulaires incisés caractéristiques de l’esthétique Lega.
Les montants et la caisse de résonance témoignent d’un usage rituel et musical ancien, avec une patine profonde révélant le temps et l’authenticité de la pièce.

Chez les Lega, la harpe n’est pas seulement un instrument de musique : elle joue un rôle symbolique dans les rites initiatiques du Bwami, associée à la transmission du savoir, à la sagesse et à l’harmonie sociale.
