The Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 Cerises Cherry is a limited-edition handbag from 2005, the result of the collaboration between Marc Jacobs and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, and is regarded as a highly valued collectible piece.
Features and Design
Materials and Finishes: The bag is made from the iconic coated Monogram canvas, with an overlay of the "Cerises" pattern (smiling cherries) designed by Murakami. The finishes and the rolled double handles are in natural vachetta leather, which with use and time develops a distinctive dark patina.
Hardware Details: It features gold-toned metal accents, including the zipper and the padlock with key (often included). The metal fittings naturally tend to darken over time.
Interior: The interior is lined with brown canvas and includes a gusseted pouch pocket with a D-ring.
