In this pair of bronze statues, we can admire two figures linked to Roman mythology.
The Dancing Venus, with sinuous shapes, regarded by the ancient Romans as the goddess of beauty, love, fertility, and nature. The Faun, an Italic deity of Roman mythology, protector of the countryside, woods, flocks and shepherds, with a human appearance but goat-like feet and horns, the Greek equivalent of the satyr and also linked to oracular and fertility functions.
These two bronze pieces, characterized by a greenish patina, can be placed beside a console table, on a bookshelf, in a classical setting—or, why not, in a modern one—bringing a touch of antiquity.
