Elegant office cigarette box, made of veneered and marquetry wood, of Italian manufacture, as indicated by the 'Made in Italy' marking visible inside.
The box is richly decorated with gilded classical figurative scenes depicting putti and characters inspired by Antiquity, in a revisited Neoclassical / Empire spirit. The decor is harmoniously integrated into a burl veneer, offering a warm and refined decorative finish.
The lid features an upper slot, characteristic of cigarette boxes, while the interior is equipped with a sliding drawer, functional and practical for storage.
The item is in good overall condition, with a normal patina related to age. Only a small chip on one corner is noted, visible in the photographs, with no impact on the solidity or functionality of the box.
