Very rare !!! The lighter was probably made in France in the 30s/40s. MYON "REX" - Ancien Briquet Essence plaqué argent - Vintage Pocket Wick Lighter with nice guilloché - silver plated - Pocket lighter - silver plated and engine turned (see pictures) - hand, friction wheel, petrol. SGDG certification is the name of a patent as it was in France until 1968. The expression stands for "Breveté sans garantie du gouvernement" and means translated: "Patent without government guarantee" Filling and stone screw in the bottom. Inscription on the side: MYON REX BREVETE SGDG.
