Lenie van den Bulk's Drawbridge, an original oil painting on canvas (80 × 100 cm) from 2020, hand signed, a landscape abstract created in the Netherlands, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Lenie van den Bulk studied at the Willem de Koning Academy in Rotterdam (1980-1984). She exhibited many times in the Netherlands and a few times abroad.
Her oil-paintings are colourful and outspoken. Next to finely worked parts, there are rougher parts that form a mutual contrast. Her artwork is mainly evocative, with the use of colour, form and rhythm she express experiences, thoughts, and memories that have a meaning for herself, and possibly also for the spectator. She usually starts a painting without a predetermined plan and is guided by her intuition and what happens on the canvas.
This painting was inspired by the landscape in the village were I lived. The canvas is fastened on a metal frame.
