A special authentic rice box from Thailand, traditionally used for storing and serving sticky rice. This box is entirely handmade from natural materials and richly decorated in the traditional colors, typical of Thai folk art.
Such rice boxes were used in daily life and at ceremonial occasions. Today they are very popular as decorative objects and collectibles, partly due to their warm appearance and cultural significance.
