Description from the seller
Chalice-shaped vase in blue glass with pastilles – European art glass – 1960–1970
Description
Chalice-shaped vase in intense blue blown glass, adorned with circular applications of molten glass (discs) regularly arranged on the body.
This type of decoration is characteristic of European art glass productions of the 1960s–1970s, particularly in Czechoslovakia and West Germany, executed in the Murano style.
The glass displays a beautiful depth of color, as well as fine bubbles and slight irregularities, typical of blown glass work and hot-working applications.
The piece rests on a thick circular base, ensuring excellent stability.
No signature or workshop label visible.
State
Very good vintage condition.
No chips or cracks.
Presence of small manufacturing marks tied to the artisanal process, notably around certain pastilles and at the bottom, with no impact on the piece's integrity or aesthetics (see last photo).
