Description from the seller

A unique piece, hard to find in this complete format with integrated cuncas.

Traditional pot, made of fired and glazed clay, an antique artisanal piece with significant ethnographic value.

The vessel has a wide circular shape, designed for the ritual preparation of queimada, and features an especially singular element.

Marks of the artisanal process are evident, including small irregularities and patina consistent with the piece’s age, which reinforces its authenticity and historic charm.

Origin and context:
A piece linked to the tradition of queimada, an ancestral ritual of a festive and symbolic nature, associated with protection against evil spirits and with popular folklore. Ideal for both collectors of traditional ceramics and for rustic decoration, props, or ethnographic museography.

The size of the main bowl is 26 cm in diameter and 11 cm high.
The 10 cunas-type glasses measure 6 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height.
