Picture frame - Brass - Large table frame

Elegant pierced brass desktop frame in gold, with a striking presence and rich Rococo/Neobaroque-inspired ornamentation. European-made, dating from the mid-20th century, produced by stamping and pressing, with an original fold-down rear metal leg and a rigid back.
The design features an elaborate arrangement of open arabesques and wavy edges, giving it visual lightness and a decorative character. On the back, it preserves the mark “R.97,” corresponding to the model reference or manufacturing mold, a common feature in European decorative frames of this period.
Approximate exterior dimensions: 36 × 30 cm.
Good overall condition, with patina appropriate to its age and use, no breaks or structural deformations. An ideal piece for use as a picture frame as well as for a collection of vintage metal decorative objects.
