Stool in Thonet style, curved beech, Italy 1950s. It can be used as a stool or as a side table next to the sofa.
In 1870, following the liberalization of Thonet's patent on steam-bent wood, many companies focused on producing furniture using the technique and the secrets of bending wood.
A small piece of history, at least eighty years old, if not more, preserved to the present day. An almost museum-worthy furnishing element with a striking visual effect and a beautiful patina, a cult item that is always elegant and forever current, like a sculpture in the space.
Absolutely original and preserved in its original condition. The condition is overall good considering its age and wear.
