AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Bodywork and Paint:

The Ford Mustang has at one time been repainted and given a new paint job. This was done neatly, but over the years, of course, there are a few signs of wear visible here and there. See the photos for that, or for a good impression, you are welcome to come and view the Mustang here. The car does have its blemishes. I've tried to capture as much as possible in the photos.

Technical condition:

The Mustang has recently been provided by us with a Dutch registration plate. One of the requirements of the RDW (Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer) is that the car must be in full technical order. This test the car passed successfully. So, as far as the chassis/undercarriage is concerned, the car is very good. All import duties and taxes have also been paid.

New front suspension arms have been fitted and the brakes have been thoroughly checked and correctly adjusted. New headlights have also been fitted. All lighting has been checked and adjusted. Four brand-new tires have also been mounted and balanced. The tires with white lettering are no longer fitted.

The engine is a well-running 302 V8 paired to an automatic transmission. The engine runs well and starts up immediately on the first attempt. The exhaust is equipped with two Cherrybombs which provide a nice deep V8 sound. The engine and transmission have some oil seepage, but no serious leaks.

Recently we tackled the complete floor. With original floor panels, new beams and new torque boxes. This Mustang can go for many more years. All of this is finished very neatly with tectyl to ensure good protection. See the photos for this as well.

Condition of the interior

The interior is in very good condition. Recently we renewed the carpeting and cleaned the entire interior. The seats and the sofa are in very good condition and have no tears or anything of the kind. The headliner is also in very good condition. as are the steering wheel and the dashboard.

Documentation

The Mustang is delivered with a Dutch license plate. If needed, we can also put the Mustang on export documents if it would have to go to another country besides the Netherlands.

Transport:

Transport within the Netherlands is FREE and will be handled by us. We can also arrange transport outside the Netherlands, with delivery to your doorstep. We can transport worldwide.

PLEASE NOTE: transport prices may vary. Of course you may also arrange the transport yourself.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
