Description from the seller

White-glazed earthenware jug – 19th century
Elegant milky-white glazed ceramic pitcher, made during the nineteenth century, characterized by a harmonious and balanced form, with a bulbous body, turned foot, and a refined pouring spout.
Particularly notable is the double braided handle, enhanced with raised-relief plastic floral appliqués, a decorative element in late eighteenth‑century/early nineteenth‑century taste, which gives the object a sense of movement and a strong visual presence.
The surface features a uniform glaze with natural craquelure from aging, consistent with the period, and a slightly grooved lower band that adds further rhythm to the form. The overall impression is elegant, sober, and highly decorative.

Period: 19th century

Material: glazed ceramic

Dimensions:
– Height: 17 cm
– Max width: 15 cm
– Depth: 11.5 cm

Conditions:
Overall, in good condition.
A very small restoration to the pouring spout and a slight nick at the base, both visible in the photo. Normal signs of wear and use consistent with the object’s age. Structurally solid and well preserved.

A decorative piece of great elegance, ideal for classic interiors, country chic, or collections of antique ceramics. It has a striking presence despite its compact size.

Photos are an integral part of the description. Guaranteed careful packaging entrusted to industry professionals.
