Chess set - Verzwaarde schaakset en backgammon

This lot consists of a particularly vintage chess set and backgammon.

The set is 60 years old.

This concerns a weighted Okwa chess set.
The chess pieces are handmade and weighted with a small amount of lead.
There's a small piece of fabric at the bottom.

The chess pieces are very elegant and classic.
The Koningshoogte is 9 cm.
The runner measures 7.5 cm.
The pawn measures a little over 5 cm.

A very nice playing size.

The chessboard has vintage colors and is a so-called folding board—a box with backgammon on the inside and a chessboard on the outside.
Very nice.

There are barely any signs of use, though you can always find a few small scratches.

The backgammon set consists of 15 palmwood pieces and 5 dice.

The chest, opened flat, measures 40 x 40 cm.
The closures are working well.
