Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Porcelain ashtray from circa 1950–1960, 19 × 19 × 3 cm, 387 g, in excellent vintage condition, with a motif of three crossed walking canes including a hare‑head handle, a blue/orange dragon ornament, and a compass, signed AFAC on the base, not mass‑produced, Art Nouveau / Arts and Crafts style.
Description from the seller
Exquisitely beautiful porcelain ashtray with a unique motif of three crossed walking sticks.
One stick has a charming bunny head (with large ears and a red eye) as a handle, the other, a richly decorated blue-and-orange dragon-ornament handle in vintage style. The third is decorated with a compass.
The whole is decorated with great care and humor on high-quality white porcelain. At the bottom sits a personal, flowing artist's signature 'AFAC' (handwritten – no factory stamp present, so a truly unique work of art!).
Condition: nice, no chips, cracks or wear – only light signs of use that are appropriate for a vintage piece.
This is not a mass-produced product from a large factory (no Eschenbach, no Bavaria), but a rare, artistic object probably dating from the mid-20th century. A coveted item for lovers of vintage porcelain, walking-stick collectibles, or whimsical decor.
Dimensions
H. 19 x B. 19 cm.
Weight: 387 grams.
It will be sent by registered and insured mail (including Track & Trace).
