The lamp features a richly colored ruby red glass reservoir, finely decorated with etched floral motifs and ornamental banding. The glass sits atop a substantial black metal base with classical column-inspired detailing, offering excellent stability and visual balance. The original burner mechanism remains visible, enhancing its authenticity and period character, while the electrical conversion has been discreetly integrated.

The fabric lampshade complements the base beautifully, finished with decorative braid and golden fringe that diffuses a warm, atmospheric light. The shade shows gentle signs of age, including light marks and minor staining, consistent with its vintage nature and adding to its authentic appeal.
