Two German mid-century wall lamps (1950s–1960s) with black glazed ceramic bodies and opal glass shades, original porcelain E14 fittings, in working order and good vintage condition; one has a professionally repaired ceramic mounting and both measures are 18 cm high, 8 cm wide, and 9 cm deep.
Description from the seller
These wall lamps originate from German production in the 1950s–1960s and impress with their clean mid-century design language as well as high-quality materials.
The bodies are made of black glazed ceramic and exhibit an organic, droplet-shaped design typical of post-war modernism. The opal-white glass shades provide an even, warm, glare-free light distribution.
Both lamps are equipped with original porcelain fittings (E14). The interior surfaces of the ceramic are left unfinished, which points to contemporary mass production.
One of the two wall lamps has, on the rear side of the ceramic mounting, a professionally executed, stable repair. It is located mainly in the part of the wall that is not visible. From the front, the repair is not noticeable, but when viewed from the side at a short distance it may be visible. The function and stability of the lamp are fully intact.
The second wall lamp is in good vintage condition for its age, with no repairs needed.
A pair of distinctive German mid‑century wall lights with authentic presence—ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways, and for collectors of classic lighting from the 1950s–1960s.
The function has been tested.
