Three individual works of 'The Archer's Register', edited by H. Walrond, published in London by Horace Cox, 1901-1903. Scarce.
The Archer's Register ran from 1864-1915 with a hiatus from 1868-76. Initially edited by James Sharpe (1864-88) then Fred T. Follett (1889-97), and finally Col. H. Walrond (1898-1915). It containes a wide range of content, including competition results, society listings, advertisements, poetry, and original papers.
8vo, bound in publisher's blind-stamped green cloth, gilt lettered to spines and upper boards. Advertising endpapers. Collation: vii, 317pp. vii, 318pp. iv, 305pp.
Condition: The bindings are holding and in good condition, corners a touch bumped and with the spines rubbed, few nicks to ends. Contents are holding firmly and in good clean condition, light dust and toning, scattered foxing, notably to endleaves and fore margins. Off-setting to titles.
