Chinese milky white non-translucent mutton fat nephrite jade –China- end of 20th Century
On offer is a beautiful rectangular pendant made of Chinese milky-white mutton fat nephrite jade. This Chinese pendant has a subtle carvings in low relief in Archaic style on top, according Chinese taste. The front and reverse surfaces are undecorated and only have a carved rectangular border. Mutton fat jades are difficult to find! Comes with hanging cord.
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. A good jade, very suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
