Chinese celadon and russet jade Scholar’s thumb ring –China- end of 20th Century
On offer is a very fine quality Chinese celadon and russet jade Scholar’s thumb ring (archers ring) with a very good polished finish and natural russet color on the flat side! It is polished to a high level and has a glossy feeling and appearance. The jade has an even grayish-white color. a Natural russet jade archer ring, in the Chinese taste, which is hard to find! Excellent scholar piece!
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. a Valuable and rare jade, very suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
