Oil painting titled Bodegón de colores from Spain, dated 1940–1950, in the impressionist style, a limited edition, sold with a frame.
Description from the seller
Title: Colorful Still Life
School: Española (20th century)
Style: Colorist
Technique: oil on canvas
The composition presents a still life with a markedly colorful character, structured around a careful arrangement of everyday objects on a table covered with a cloth in pink and warm tones. Various glass bottles are visible —one transparent and another in an intense blue—, white ceramic pieces such as a teapot, a sugar shaker, a teacup with its saucer, and a central bowl, as well as a small floral bouquet that adds a decorative and luminous accent to the whole.
The work stands out for its expressive use of color and loose brushwork, with visible impastos that reinforce the materiality of objects and create a dynamic play of light and reflections. The color palette combines blues, whites, ochres, and pinks, achieving a harmonious balance between background and foreground. The pictorial treatment, more suggestive than descriptive, places the work within a modern aesthetic typical of the Spanish School of the 20th century, where expressivity and chromatic sensibility prevail over meticulous detail.
The artwork is presented with a wooden frame featuring straight lines and a wide profile, in a dark brown tone, accompanied by a light inner mat that enhances the painted scene and adds visual depth to the overall presentation.
Remarks:
The frame comes as a gift. It may be damaged during transport even if it is properly packaged.
Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by an additional charge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excess measurements, or weight of the item. Under no circumstances will PremiArt cover this additional charge.
Due to border issues with Switzerland, we regret to inform you that shipments exceeding 1 meter in length or height to that destination will not be carried out.
Dimensions: 55 x 47 cm
Dimensions with frame: 62 x 71 cm
The works are sent without insurance. If you wish to request insurance for the transport of the work, you must contact us in advance via private message; if not requested, we will not be responsible for any damages that may have occurred during transport.
