Green opal-glass Bauhaus Art Deco hanging lamp from Germany, dating to 1960–1970, with a flat round shade (40 cm wide, 16 cm high) and a hanging height of about 80 cm, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and in working order.
Description from the seller
This Art Deco lamp captivates with its serene elegance and the distinctive language of form from the 1920s and 1930s. The flat, round glass shade looks like a hovering disk and displays a finely nuanced play of color in warm cream and beige tones, interwoven with darker, organically flowing lines. This marbled texture gives the lamp depth and individuality – no pattern is alike.
The softly translucent glass creates a subdued, atmospheric light that evenly illuminates the room without glare. Typical of the Art Deco style, the fixture combines decorative refinement with functional clarity: it is both a utilitarian object and a stylish design element.
Whether in a historic interior or as a stylish contrast in modern spaces – this lamp sets a subtle yet expressive accent and speaks of an era in which craftsmanship, material aesthetics, and timeless design were at the center.
The lamp is in used good condition. One screw has been glued.
