Antique VICTORIAN pair of sterling silver napkin rings in the original claret velvet and satin hinged presentation box. The napkins are of a round convex form, simple and classic in design and are initialed.
The napkins were made in 1889 in Birmingham England ( see hallmark photo for verification) 
This is a stunning and beautifully made pair of napkin rings would make a great gift!

History* Napkin rings are a peculiarly Victorian invention used to hold linen napkins tidily in place. Introduced in the mid-19th century, they were often personalised. Box sets were popular wedding and christening gifts.
