Rare interchangeable low-power ocular (
Technical and Historical Details:
• Manufacturer: Taylor, Taylor & Hobson Ltd (T.T. & H. Ltd), globally renowned for its optical excellence and official supplier to the British Ministry of Defence (War Department).
• Markings: Engraved on the brass body "T.T. & H. Ltd." and the indication "LOW" (referring to the wide-field magnification, typically 15×).
• Material: Robust construction in original brass with a period finish.
• Accessories: Includes the original brown leather carrying case, with lid and clasp, used to protect the optical component when not in use on the main telescope.
Condition of Conservation
