Box - Porcelain - 18th century

Very unusual Chinese blue and white porcelain lidded spice box produced in Jingdezhen during the first half of the 18th century. The box is decorated with with bamboo, chrysanthemum, plum blossom, and peony in underglaze cobalt blue.

Condition: Lid in perfect condition; box in good condition, apart from a consolidated hairline crack (indicated in the photographs).
