This is a Dunhill Unique lighter, silver-plated, with a barley grain pattern.

Known as the world's first one-handed lighter. It features a 'lift-arm' mechanism, which allows ignition with a single hand, a significant innovation for its time.
The particular specimen has a textured finish, often referred to as a barley pattern (barley) or engine-turned (guilloché).

In good condition, with the bottom screw missing (see photos).
