Vintage technical wall chart/display with a detailed cross-sectional drawing of the Gewehr G3 (CETME), caliber 7.62×51 mm, produced as a so-called Waffentafel.
The display board: Soldat und Technik – Issue 11 (1959) and it shows a very extensive technical illustration with a numbered parts list. Such boards were used for technical explanations, presentations, fairs, or training purposes, and were intended to provide a visual understanding of the operation and construction of the weapon.
Executed on cardboard and equipped with a simple hanging mechanism.
