Description from the seller

This photograph is part of the 'Volupté' series and was taken in a studio in Paris in 2020.
The print is made on a very beautiful Fine Art Baryta Prestige paper with a high weight (340g/m²), allowing for excellent durability in a traditional photo frame, even without glass.
This signed print measuring 34x43cm is part of a limited edition (/25). It comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Lou Atmån's photographs resemble riddles. The bodies are fragmented, blurred; they reveal themselves or hide, playing with what we know of them to tell something else. But what to tell? First of all, impressions [...] the fusive abandonment of a figure in its milky or fetal environment.
What truly remains of the body is the eroticism of this photographed skin, yet with much modesty, like a caress, delicate as a whisper. By becoming only pure form, pure image composition, its surface expresses the invisible that animates it, but refuses to name it. It simply seeks the gaze, this quest for the gaze as metamorphosis, when form becomes a new space, a new body.
