Up for auction is a stunning example of the golden era of Hi-Fi: the Marantz SD 1015 Stereo Cassette Deck. 

Finished in the iconic brushed champagne/silver, this unit has undergone a complete professional restoration to ensure it performs as well as it did the day it left the factory.

Condition & Service Details:

This is not just another "tested" unit. To guarantee long-term reliability and peak audio performance, it has been:
Fully Recapped: All critical electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with high-quality modern equivalents to restore the original sound signature and stability.

Mechanically Serviced: New drive belts installed; the mechanism has been cleaned and lubricated.

Calibrated: Playback speed and head alignment have been professionally adjusted.

Cosmetics: In excellent aesthetic condition, with a very clean faceplate and bright, responsive VU meters.

The SD 1015 is famous for its "Super Hard Metal Alloy Head," providing exceptional durability and frequency response. It features dual needle-style VU meters that provide that classic vintage warm glow, adding a beautiful aesthetic touch to any setup.

The unit has been professionally serviced and recapped to ensure optimal performance. Due to the pristine condition of the original chassis screws, I have chosen not to reopen the unit for photos to avoid any cosmetic marks.
