Up for auction: a prestigious moving-magnet cartridge (MM) Ortofon 2MR Black, the flagship model of the famous 2M series, complete with its original case.
The 2MR version features a low-profile headshell body, specifically designed to integrate perfectly with Rega turntable arms (and other similar manufacturers’ arms) without the need for spacers or VTA modifications.
Main Features
Stylus: Nude Shibata (the same profile used in high-end MC cartridges).
Conditions: excellent
Operating hours: About 150–200 hours (the stylus has an estimated useful life of over 1,000 hours, so it’s barely broken in).
Sound: Extremely detailed, analytical, and dynamic, with superb tracking capability.
The cartridge is supplied complete with its original case and original accessories. It has been used with the utmost care in a smoke-free environment.
