Description from the seller
Original vintage movie poster – 1970s
Size: 27 x 41 inches, standard US theatrical poster size
Original US theatrical poster for Such Good Friends (released December 1971, poster published 1972) directed by Otto Preminger, based on the novel by Lois Gould. This striking design from famous graphic designer Saul Bass features the iconic “little black book” motif, referencing the satirical and provocative nature of the film, which was notable at the time for its frank treatment of relationships and sexuality.
Good overall vintage condition with visible fold lines consistent with original distribution, minor edge wear and light creasing (see photos, bottom center). Colors remain strong and well-preserved with motifs cleanly visible. 100% original poster, not a reprint or reproduction including original registration marks and licensing.
A fine example of early-1970s American cinema advertising and a desirable piece for collectors of New Hollywood–era films or Otto Preminger memorabilia.
