Splendid vintage chandelier of Italian craftsmanship, dating from the 1960s or 1970s, embodying the classic rustic and refined style, often associated with Bassano ceramics.
The structure features a fascinating mix of materials: central sections and the lamp holder in hand-painted white ceramic with delicate floral motifs and garlands in shades of green and orange/gold, whose colors have remained vivid and intact over time. The sinuous arms, chain, and leaf-like decorative details are made of metal (probably patinated brass or wrought iron), which displays a beautiful antique patina.
The chandelier is completed by original glass lampshades/ampoules in transparent glass with a distinctive lattice pattern. Under each ampoule, the light fittings are candle-shaped, as they used to be, adding an extra touch of authenticity and vintage charm.
The item is in good overall condition, fully functional, and ready to be installed (it is always advisable to have a qualified electrician check it for safety).
