The exclusive dish in the shape of a painter's palette has a special backstory. History shows that Mr. Boch and Vincent van Gogh were known in their era. Vincent van Gogh even painted a portrait of Mrs. Boch.

Both gentlemen also kept up regular correspondence, and one of those letters is on display at the Villeroy & Boch Museum. In part thanks to this connection and the fact that Bilderberg currently maintains ties with Villeroy & Boch, this collaboration materialized.
