Offered is an original 18th century printed volume of Nova Acta Historico-Ecclesiastica, an important historical-ecclesiastical source work containing contemporary documents, reports and memoranda related to church history, Protestant missions and religious affairs in Europe and abroad.
This volume includes sections and texts such as reports on evangelical Lutheran missions in East India, as well as various official memoranda and religious-historical writings. A remarkable example is the “Corpus Evangelicorum” memorial concerning the Protestant community of Schernau in Franconia (dated 1766) in a dispute contra Würzburg, making this book especially attractive for collectors of early modern religious and political history.
