It has a pretty Art Nouveau leaf design on the handle with victorian flourishes.Has a monogram of "Germaine" so it may have been a souvenir from the town of Germaine, France. Measures 4 inches long. This was made by renowned Art Nouveau designer Charles Murat, whose firm began operating in Paris in the late 1800s.MARKS:Marked with the boar's head mark for French solid silver items. Also has the maker's mark on the loop and the back of the blade is stamped CM for Murat and DEPOSE which is French for what we call a copyrighted or patented design.
