Fagerhults Mascot – A&E Design – 1983
Zeldzame Zweedse industriële designlamp | Origineel | Perfecte staat

Dit betreft geen Fagerhults Lucifer, maar de aanzienlijk zeldzamere Fagerhults Mascot, ontworpen door A&E Design (Tom Ahlström & Hans Ehrich) voor Fagerhults in Zweden.

Er is rechtstreeks contact geweest met Fagerhult, en zij hebben bevestigd dat dit exemplaar in 1983 is geproduceerd. Deze datering, in combinatie met de aanwezige originele serienummer-/typeplaat, maakt dit object uitzonderlijk goed gedocumenteerd en interessant voor verzamelaars van Scandinavisch industrieel design.

Zeldzaamheid & marktpositie
Waar de Fagerhults Lucifer de afgelopen jaren meer dan 35 keer via veilingsites en online platforms is aangeboden, is de Mascot uiterst zelden op de markt verschenen. Voor zover online te herleiden is deze slechts één keer aangeboden, ruim 10 jaar geleden.

De Mascot was bedoeld als professionele werk- en tekenlamp voor intensief gebruik in kantoren en industrie. Door het functionele karakter, het formaat en de beperkte verspreiding is dit model aanzienlijk minder gangbaar dan de Lucifer.

De lamp is niet gemodificeerd en behoudt zijn authentieke industriële uitstraling.

Voet & bevestiging.

De oorspronkelijke tafelklem was defect en niet meer bruikbaar.
Daarom is gekozen voor een nieuwe, zware losse voet, waardoor de lamp stabiel, veilig en vrij te plaatsen is.

De kapotte tafel­klem wordt niet meegeleverd.
De nieuwe voet is functioneel, solide en visueel passend bij het industriële karakter van de lamp.

Rare Swedish industrial design lamp | Original | Excellent condition

This is not a Fagerhults Lucifer, but the much rarer Fagerhults Mascot, designed by A&E Design (Tom Ahlström & Hans Ehrich) for Fagerhults, Sweden.

There has been direct contact with Fagerhults, who confirmed that this lamp was manufactured in 1983. This dating, together with the original serial / type plate still present, makes this piece exceptionally well documented and highly attractive to collectors of Scandinavian industrial design.

Rarity & market position
While the Fagerhults Lucifer has appeared more than 35 times on online auction and sales platforms in recent years, the Mascot is extremely rarely offered. Based on available online records, it has surfaced only once, more than 10 years ago.

The Mascot was originally developed as a professional task and drafting lamp for offices and industrial environments. Due to its size, purpose and limited distribution, it is significantly rarer than the Lucifer model.
Condition & originality
*Excellent to near-perfect condition, both technically and visually

*No play in the articulated joints
*Paintwork and metal parts in very fine condition

The lamp has not been modified and retains its authentic industrial character.
Base & mounting (full transparency)
The original table clamp was damaged and unusable.
For this reason, the lamp is now fitted with a new, heavy freestanding base, allowing it to be placed securely and flexibly.

The broken table clamp is not included.
The new base is solid, stable and visually in keeping with the industrial design of the lamp.
