In-4 (20.5 x 16.5), full vellum binding, 18th century. Missing the title piece on the spine.
First edition of a series of love letters in Greek, established from a manuscript in the library of János Zsámboky (Johannes Sambucus). The whole work is attributed to Aristénète, the author of the first letter, but it may be a collection of letters written by several different authors.

About a hundred blank pages are bound at the end of the volume. The first of them contains the library’s catalog dated 1839 (A–C only).
