A set of Golden Birds (one small and one large) handcrafted using a fusing technique by Maciej Habrat, a Polish artist with over 20 years of experience working with glass. Opal glass and 24-carat gold are fused to create these modern forms. Glass birds are exceptional pieces that will undoubtedly enhance any interior. Dimensions: large bird H- 17 cm, W- 15 cm, D- 6.5 cm; small bird H- 15 cm, W- 15 cm, D- 6.5 cm; Packaging: they come in attractive gift boxes. Seller's Story
Maciej Habrat Atelier was founded in 1997 in Krosno, Poland. All glass works are designed and hand-made in a fusing technique by him. Maciej graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland-the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. His style is easily recognized in many galleries around the world and some glass objects were exhibited in the Corning Museum of Glass, USA.
TV ARTE has released a documentarty about the family company and every year during the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt Maciej's masterpieces allure with colors and forms.
