In this expressionless face, there is all my present.
A suspended, fragmented identity that gets lost among plots, symbols, and silences.
Today I feel like I don't have a clear form, neither as an artist nor as a person.
I paint, I believe, but I constantly wonder: what truly defines me?
Every glued piece is a part of me I don't yet know where to put.
Every emptiness is a question that finds no answer.
This painting is my way of staying in doubt, without fleeing.
It is an emotional self-portrait, more than a visual one.
A silent cry that says: 'I am here, even if I do not yet know who I am.'
Perhaps identity is not a form to find, but a path to cross.

Chiara Napolitano was born in 1986 in Carpi. From an early age, she showed a natural talent for drawing, graduating from the A. Venturi art institute in Modena and later starting to make a name for herself by selling pop art copies at art and craft markets.
Meanwhile, his artistic exploration evolved, establishing a personal and authentic style. Women with melancholic gazes, dripping paint, and rippling scraps of paper, creating a deliberately imperfect scene, are all recognizable elements that have helped define his identity and artistic sensibility over time.
The artist uses these women to express his moods.
Every face, every gesture tells a unique story.

Chiara Napolitano has participated in several group and solo exhibitions.
