Description from the seller
Description: Splendid and elegant large hanging lantern, a perfect example of Italian art craftsmanship from the mid-20th century. This unique piece combines the solidity of the structure in gilded brass with the refinement of six uprights in Murano glass worked in torciglione (cordonato).
The lantern features a harmonious hexagonal shape, enhanced by decorative scroll elements on both the upper cap and the terminal base, giving the object a silhouette that is at once light and majestic. The side panels in transparent glass allow a sharp diffusion of light, while the twisted glass pillars create spectacular prismatic reflections when the lamp is on.
