Description from the seller

Small apothecary vase, two-handled, from the Florentine area, dating to the early decades of the 17th century. Decoration: “foliate scrolls.” In the center of the body is painted a cartouche bearing the inscription “LUPPOLI.” Colors: blue, yellow, green, manganese brown. Height 17.5 cm; distance between the handles 15 cm. In the last image one can see a very similar vase from the early 17th century (but with the inscription “MIRRA”) sold at an online auction a few years ago. Both were probably made in the same artisan workshop. Chips, losses of the glaze, and a small piece of the neck reattached. The photos attest to the object’s condition. Provenance: from my collection. SHIPPING ONLY TO THE EU.
