Description from the seller
Casper Faassen (1975–) is a contemporary Dutch artist who lives and works in Leiden. His work moves between painting and photography, combining classical visual language with modern techniques. Central themes in his oeuvre are transience, beauty, and the tension between appearing and disappearing.
In this screen print, Faassen shows his playful and graphic side. Against a blazing red background, a pig is depicted facing the viewer head-on.
