Description from the seller

Antique wooden sewing stand / craft stand – circa 1880–1910

Very charming and elegant antique sewing stand, made of solid wood and equipped with an original textile storage compartment. This refined piece of furniture exudes the atmosphere of the late 19th century and forms a wonderful example of functional luxury from a time when craftsmanship was central.

The stand rests on a handsome, three-part base, which not only provides stability but also a graceful silhouette. The wooden upright is equipped with subtle decorative details, including an inlaid or carved ornament, which contributes to the rich appearance of the whole. The warm wood tone contrasts beautifully with the gold-colored fabric of the storage compartment.

Originally intended for storing handicraft and sewing supplies, this piece today is also particularly well suited as a decorative object in a classic, country, or eclectic interior.
