Swiss commemorative coin of 5 francs minted in silver, dedicated to the Red Cross. On the obverse, a female figure stands, inspired by allegory, with her right arm raised in a protective gesture while holding a horizontal cross, upon which two human figures wrapped in bandages rest, symbolizing humanitarian aid and assistance to the wounded; around it, the date is arranged in figures. On the reverse, the face value '5 FR' is centered, surrounded by the legend CONFŒDERATIO HELVETICA, with a sober and balanced composition typical of Swiss commemorative issues from the mid-20th century, featuring clean surfaces, well-defined reliefs, and a uniform silver tone.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
