Violin bow – W. Herrmann, Markneukirchen

For sale is a beautiful violin bow with the stamp 'W. HERRMANN', from the renowned bow maker tradition of Herrmann (Markneukirchen, Germany).

The bow is approximately 75 cm long and weighs 56 grams. It is made from Pernambuco wood and equipped with an ebony frog with a mother-of-pearl eye and a nickel mount. The head displays the elegant, characteristic shape of the Markneukirchen school.

The bow is in used but good condition – the furring should be renewed. The bar is straight, elastic, and has a pleasant playing feel.

An ideal bow for advanced players or collectors of historical workshop bows with traditional craftsmanship quality.
